Brands can leverage user-generated content from customers and fans that are already consuming and sharing your brand. This tactic requires quite a bit of responsiveness on your brand’s part, but here is how you can successfully leverage crowdsourcing for your next campaign.
- Understand where your consumers spend their time online (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Offer incentives for user-generated content that is shared via social media. Think about consumer interviews, guest posts, asking consumers to model your products, etc.
- Encourage the use of hashtags related to your product or brand.
- Ask for blog posts and reviews at the bottom of your posts and repost those reviews across social platforms.
