If you’re thinking about hiring a marketing agency to help you plot out your next campaign – that’s great!  A marketing agency can definitely help you take your brand to the next level – but time and time again, I’ve worked with many companies who really have no idea what their marketing agency should be doing for them.  So, today’s post will focus on the things you should expect from your marketing agency:

  • Transparency: A great marketing agency will provide you with full disclosure of all marketing plans and activities and will likely even have a project management application in place to track the progress of different projects across the board.
  • Social Media Engagement: In this day and age, there’s no getting around social media – and your brand would do well to have some sort of social media accounts to fully engage your customers. A great marketing agency will keep your accounts active, via daily/weekly posts and/or via ads on these outlets that will lead customers back to your site or educate them about your brand.

Analytics: One of the best ways to determine if your marketing agency is enhancing ROI is through analytics.  Whether its tracking hours on a weekly basis, or a full report of the increase in twitter followers and engagements, a great marketing agency should be able to provide you with the numbers to help make sense of their activities.
